One Wednesday each month during the Fall 2014 semester HEAT will offer an interactive presentation as part of the Wellness Wednesday series.  Each session will cover a dimension of wellness.  All presentations will be located in The Zone!    Snacks and small prizes will be given to participants.

Cooper Clayton Smoking Cessation Program

The Cooper/Clayton Method is a safe and effective way to help people stay smoke-free for the rest of their lives. The Cooper/Clayton Method is a comprehensive behavioral smoking cessation program. It was started over 25 years ago by two faculty members at the University of Kentucky.

Mountain Biking 101

This workshop will cover the highs and lows of mountain biking including basic maintenance, riding styles/skills, and ride around campus on some of AP’s full suspension Stump Jumpers! You are welcome to bring your own bike for this workshop as well.

Ladies Climb Night

Kayak Roll Clinic

This instructional clinic will provide you with the necessary skills needed to roll a kayak.  The clinic will be held in Alumni Pool under experienced supervision.  Space is limited to 6 participants, so sign up at the Fitness & Wellness Center to reserve your spot!

Power Hour is an one hour event to showcase The Zone located in the Fitness and Wellness Center.  We will have interactive games, educational resources, and healthy snacks for each event.  Stop by The Zone from 4-5pm the first Monday of each month.
