The Department of Campus Recreation offers a wide variety of recreational programming to all EKU students.

Intramurals Sports is an EKU tradition, offering recreation and leisure opportunities through structured contests, tournaments, and leagues. The goal of the program is for participants to develop leadership, teamwork and socialization skills that enhance the college experience.

Students are able to compete on teams and individual/dual activities that allow for growth outside the classroom environment. It is the mission of intramural sports to offer diverse programming, offering each student the opportunity to participate, regardless of ability. In addition, Intramurals provides students with excellent employment opportunities in supervisory or officiating capacities.
